With a background in internal audit, productivity review and general problem solving, Geoffrey Svenson graduated from the New South Wales Institute of Technology (now The University of Technology, Sydney) in 1985. He then undertook a masters degree at Sydney University, completed in 1996, and continues to maintain the currency of his expertise through attendance at specialised courses and presentations, and through hands-on experience. Geoffrey Svenson is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA-Australia 1989) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (ISACA-USA 1992). He is author of a number of articles and of two books, has presented to a range of academic institutions and specialist conferences. He has worked in the airline, mining and services sectors as well as occupying roles in the commonwealth and state public services. He has worked in all states of Australia, in Europe, Asia, China and the United States. He has worked at all organisation levels including general management. With this very broad range of experience behind us, it is very probably that Geoff Svenson Services can assist with almost any systems or process-related problems.
Geoffrey Svenson is also a qualified industrial archaeologist, is the author and developer of this web site, and of one specialising in the archaeology of industrial and historical sites in Australia and the Peoples' Republic of China.
